Gold Country Chaplaincy exists to “stand in the gap” (Ezekiel 22:30), as a faith based ministry dedicated to providing spiritual, emotional, and mental support in times of need or crisis to our military, veterans and their families, first responders, businesses, churches and the community.
The Gold Country Chaplaincy is made up of members from your community with a heart to help. We are a Christan non-profit organization. The Gold Country Chaplaincy serves the spiritual, emotional, and psychological needs of businesses in the area, returning vets from Iraq and Afghanistan, and fire/EMS personnel. Part of that service includes responding to life and death emergencies within the community.
We come with many years of experience. Our Chaplains have expertise in both classroom and field training. Some have served for over ten years in a first responder role, working with emergency personnel in some of the most difficult situations imaginable. Through all these crises, the Chaplain brings peace in the midst of the storm - an understanding ear with a soft shoulder to cry on, and the strong arm to hold you up when life throws more at you than you can handle.

Chaplain Terry Morgan was invited to the White House last week. He was asked to go to Washington to do a briefing for Army One Source on June 16th, and to attend a briefing at the White House for Community Leaders on June 17th.

Individual CISM and Peer Support course coming to Placer County
This two day class is scheduled to run from 8:30 to 4:30 each day. The program is designed to teach participants the fundamentals of, and a specific protocol for, individual crisis intervention and peer support.
